FAQs
Does joining an interest group mean I'm going?
Nope. It just means you'll get updates, interest meeting dates, and registration info first. You can leave the group anytime.
Can I join more than one interest group?
Yes. If a few trips catch your eye, join them all and decide once you have more details.
What do I need for my passport?
For international trips, your passport needs to be valid at least 6 months past your return date and have at least 2 blank pages. If yours is expired or close, start the renewal now. It can take a while, and you'll need it to book flights.
Are the costs final?
Not yet. The costs listed are estimates. Final costs get shared with each interest group as plans come together.
Are there meetings before the trip?
Yes. Every team has pre-trip meetings for training, team prep, and prayer. Join the interest group and you'll get the dates as they're set.
Do I need any vaccines?
It depends on the trip. Uganda requires proof of a yellow fever vaccine. Honduras requires a current tetanus shot plus Hepatitis A and B. For any trip, check the CDC travel page and talk with your doctor about what they recommend.
I'm not in healthcare. Can I still go to Honduras?
Maybe. The Honduras team is mostly medical and dental professionals, but there are a few spots for non-medical help. Join the interest group to hear more.
Can students go on a trip?
Yes. The Ecuador student trip is for Celebration Youth students in 6th through 12th grade. Young adults have their own trip to the Netherlands in November, and can join others too.
